Free parking is available at the RHCPA between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are several accessible parking spots available in the West Parking Lot near the West Entrance.

Doors Open

Doors to the Main Auditorium generally open 30 minutes prior to show time, but can vary. Contact the Box Office at [email protected] or 905-787-8811 for more information.

Late Arrivals

Late arrivals will not be admitted into the Main Auditorium until a suitable break in the performance.

Babes in Arms

All patrons require a ticket regardless of age, due to local fire code regulations.

Each RHCPA Presents Family Series performance has a limited number of complimentary tickets available to be used for infants under the age of 2. They will be issued by the Box Office at the time of purchase by phone or in- person only - available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Shall there be no complimentary tickets remaining, then a regular theatre ticket must be purchased.

Accessibility

The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts is a fully-accessible building and is compliant with the Accessibility For Ontarians With Disabilities Act (AODA). The Theatre is also equipped with an infrared sound amplification system. Please visit the box office for access to the system headsets.

Smoking

The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts is a smoke-free facility and is in compliance with the Smoke Free Ontario legislation. This includes all legislation pertaining to e-cigarettes and tobacco products.

Performance Photography & Videography

This varies from show to show and at the presenter’s/artist's request. DSLR, SLR or any kind of professional photography or videography is strictly prohibited inside the Main Auditorium. If you would like information about a specific performance, please contact the Box Office at [email protected] or 905-787-8811.

Coat Check

There is a seasonal coat check available at a cost of $2 per coat. It is located directly across from the Box Office.

Outside Food and Beverage

Outside food and beverage is not permitted inside the Main Auditorium. Only items purchased from the Main Bar will be permitted.

Scent Free Policy

In consideration of patrons who may have scent/fragrance sensitivities, please refrain from wearing cologne, perfume, or any scented products at the theatre. Thank you for helping us make the theatre experience enjoyable for everyone.

Lost and Found

Please call the Box Office at 905-787-8811 if you have lost/misplaced an item during your visit.

Late Comers

Patrons who arrive late will be permitted access to the Main Auditorium at a suitable break in the performance, as agreed to by the performance presenter/artist. Patrons are not guaranteed access to their assigned seating and may be seated to a late call section.

Dress Code

While there is no formal dress code for the theatre, patrons generally wear business casual attire.

Pets

Pets are not permitted at the RHCPA except service animals - an animal trained to aid a person with a disability.
