Bato Festival 2026 - Harmonies in Motion

Presented by BaTo Cultural Organization
BaTo Cultural Organization is a Richmond Hill-based non-profit dedicated to celebrating diversity through arts, music, and community engagement. Through festivals, performances, and educational programming, BaTo creates opportunities for artists and audiences to connect across cultures while preserving and sharing artistic traditions.

Harmonies in Motion
Harmonies in Motion is an evening of cross-cultural music that brings together artists from Persian, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and contemporary global traditions. Through pop, ambient fusion, world music, and innovative collaborations, the program explores themes of identity, belonging, and cultural exchange. Audiences will experience a diverse range of sounds and stories that celebrate the richness of multicultural communities and the power of music to connect people across cultures.

Navan
One of the rising voices in contemporary Persian pop, Navan blends Persian, French, and English influences into a distinctive international sound. Following the success of his debut album Mesle Ghabl and a sold-out North American tour, he launched Kisses on the Moon, a cinematic orchestral-pop concert experience that highlights his multilingual artistry and passion for connecting cultures through music.

In Gibberish
Featuring Saba Zameni, Dhaivat Jani, and Amine Bouzaher, In Gibberish combines the soulful depth of Sufi poetry with atmospheric electronic and ambient soundscapes. Inspired by artists such as London Grammar, Arooj Aftab, and Bonobo, the trio creates immersive musical journeys that evoke reflection, longing, and cross-cultural connection.

Massyr Ensemble
Massyr is a Toronto-based ensemble that brings together musicians from Syrian, Iranian, South Asian, and Canadian backgrounds. Blending Arabic, Persian, and South Asian musical traditions, the group creates dynamic performances that celebrate cultural dialogue, belonging, and artistic collaboration through music. *Please Note: All tickets are final sale and non-refundable.
