The RHCPA is equipped with a catering kitchen designed to reheat and plate food. The catering kitchen is located on the first floor of the old school house below administrative offices. The RHCPA has a list of preferred caterers/suppliers who went through a screening process to ensure the quality of the food and service is second to none. Should you choose to use another caterer/supplier, we are required to obtain a copy of their last health inspection (not applicable to non-food suppliers), a copy of their insurance policy showing a liability coverage of at least 2 million dollars per occurrence and a landmark fee of 20% must be made payable to the “Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts” based on the food, décor, staffing etc. as provided by the caterer. All off list companies are subject to approval by the RHCPA.
The RHCPA is a fully licensed venue. As a result, you are not able to bring in donated alcoholic beverages. RHCPA will solely be authorized to determine what is sold or not sold at the main bar. Any elimination of the bar (partial or complete) during pre-show or intermission will result in a bar charge billed to your settlement. We are bound by our license to supply all alcohol to your patrons. We can also provide a host bar for your event. Please note that should you provide a host bar, you will cover the cost of the beverages, the bar tenders and gratuity.
